All the capital city shows on the tour were sold out and all of you were just amazing. I'm not sure how many are following our twitter feed (@TBEAustralia) but we took some pretty amazing shots from the stage... here's an example from the glorious Forum in Melbourne.
We just wanted to say thank you so much for all those that came out and showed so much love. You make all the work worthwhile!

~ 12.2.09 ~The Butterfly Effect Bush Fire Appeal
Hey TBE Fans,
Normally we just email you news on The Butterfly Effect, tours we are doing or asking you to help us vote or request a new track we might have out. We've never done this before but the whole band really wants to reach out to all our fans to help.
I'm sure all of you are aware of the devastating bush fires in Victoria. As a band that has toured this country relentlessly over the past 10 years we've seen so many small towns and met so many great people. We've toured through country Victoria many times and to see what these people, and I'm sure some TBE fans, have gone through has been very hard to take in.
We would love every Butterfly Effect fan to reach into their pockets and donate to the appeal to help these communities get back on their feet. It can be as little as $5 or $10 or $50 or what every you can afford.
As a band we'll be giving cash donations as well as giving blood today!
Below is a list of places you can hit online or head into a local bank to make your donation. Check out the list and see which is the easiest for you to help out.
As a band we're very proud of our country and it's people so we really need to look after each other in times like this.
Thanks for your support,
TBE

~ 30.1.09 ~In These Hands
The new video for In These Hands is now up! It's being featured on the front of the MySpace and on our YouTube channel.
We shot the video a few months ago after the first leg of the album tour. We wanted to go with a similar feel to Window and the Watcher so it was shot it on a green screen and the same guys from 50-50 did all the animation. The song is a lot less dark than WATW so we wanted the clip to reflect that. The graphics were kind of inspired by the work of Jackson Pollock. I think it looks really interesting and I hope you dig it.
Request it on Channel V...

~ 25.11.08 ~Home sweet home
Hey everyone,
Now that the first part of the album tour's done just wanted to take this chance to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to the shows and made it the funnest tour ever!
The new songs went down really well and it was great getting out there and meeting you all and having the odd beer or two (sorry Quest Fremantle :S)
We recorded 12 of the shows on this tour and and my hope is to be able to put together a kick ass live mix for a possible future live album or even DVD. We're editing footage and songs at the moment so keep an eye out on the 'space over the next couple of weeks for new photos, clips and maybe even a live track or two
We'll be laying low for the next few weeks doing the washing and enjoying being a bit normal but next year is already looking rather large. We're hitting the road for another leg of the tour in early January and we'll get to some of the more regional places that we haven't been to yet.
Also we're really hoping to get the record released outside of Australia and to respond to the requests we've been getting for an OS tour. Fingers crossed.
We've finally seen an edit of the "In These Hands" clip which will be released as our next single early next year and it looks really great. The crew at 50/50 films have been working non-stop while we've been on tour and the results are well worth their efforts. Hopefully we'll be able to post a bit of it on youtube over the next week or so.
Also just wanted to say a big thanks to all those people who have ringing in and jumping online to request the tunes. Nova around the country has been playing "Window" heaps and the Js have been spinning "Hands" and "Final Conversation" as well. Feels nice to be finally getting some recognition for the hard work. Seriously... Thank you!
We'll see you soon... my shout for the beer! :)
